Spinning Day Sunday 24 January 2016 Brook Agricultural Museum

Spinning course run by Spinning Earth on Sunday 24 Janaury 2016 10am till 4 pm, lunch included.
Spend a day creating your own yarn on a traditional spinning wheel. Take the fibres from pre-prepared bats of combed fleece, draft into roving, work the spinning wheel and gauge how to coordinate the rhythm of the wheel as you fill your bobbin with yarn. Then you will ply your yarn to give it strength and wind it into a skein to take home. Led by Della Newman, Founder of Spinning Earth www.spinningearth.co.uk
