WCF are hosting a leatherworking day, organised by the Kent Association of pole lathe turners, AKA the bodgers. So if you have some tools needing covers, or fancy trying your hand at some other Leather working skills this is your chance. Spinning course run by Spinning Earth on Sunday 24 Janaury 2016 10am till 4 pm, lunch included. Spend a day creating your own yarn on a traditional spinning wheel. Take the fibres from pre-prepared bats of combed fleece, draft into roving, work the spinning wheel and gauge how to coordinate the rhythm of the wheel as you fill your bobbin with yarn.
